Who Is Your Lawyer?
The better question is, “Who is the lawyer that is going to represent me at my hearing?”
It may be the lawyer you saw on television especially if the lawyer practices in the area
in which you live. If it is a “national firm”, that is one that represents claimants around
the country, the lawyer, if there is one, on television is not very likely going to be the one
that actually represents you at the hearing.
I think you should know the attorney who will represent you at the hearing. I, further,
think you should be able to talk with that attorney any time you have a question about
your case and that attorney should be involved in the development of your case from the
time he or she is hired by you.
